Museo Correr for the city's own record of itself, which almost everyone skips and
which comes free with the Doge's Palace ticket anyway.

It is sold only as part of the combined museums of St Mark's Square ticket,
which also covers the Correr, the Archaeological Museum and the Marciana library rooms. That is not
an upsell you can decline, so plan to use at least the Correr.

Closing days, which vary
They are not uniform and they have changed. The Peggy Guggenheim closes on Tuesdays.
The Accademia keeps short hours on Mondays. Several civic museums close on Mondays
outright. Check the specific ones you want the week you travel rather than assuming a pattern.
Is a pass worth it
Count the sites you actually intend to enter before you buy anything. The museum pass and the
various city cards each cover a different list, and the Guggenheim is on none of them because it is
a private foundation. For most three-day trips the Chorus Pass plus the square's combined ticket is
the whole answer.
